Welcome to Doodle’s Diary 2!


Hello there, Doodlers! 

After the initial stages of design and development of our Doodle’s Diary, we are ready to bring our prototype forward and expand on its features further. 

In our prototype, you see that we have already developed an engaging single-level gameplay that can suit players with different difficulty appetites.


We have spiced things up with procedural map generation so Doodle is always in a state of the unknown at the start of each game. In addition, with our fogging system, enemies are being hidden from Doodle, challenging him to build his tower effectively for maximum efficiency.


You have seen 3 different powerful towers at work, they are entirely upgradable in-game and capable of changing their bullet elements (ice, water and fire). 

Doodle’s enemies are certainly afraid of getting trapped within the mixture of the elemental damages. 

However, with all these powerful towers being built, Doodle still has to be careful and defend himself from various types of enemies ranging from giant trolls and fast ninjas. 

If Doodle found himself strangled and overwhelmed by enemies flooding the home base, Doodle can use his sword and pistol to chip into the defence.


We always take care of the newcomers who are joining the journey with Doodle, hence our team has set up a detailed tutorial system to guide the newcomers to become master Doodlers themselves.


In the next post, our development team will keep you posted on our upcoming features and a brand-new storyline for our Doodle, who will be named “Dan”!
